District Governor Arben Dushi visits, during the second Peja Peace Forum

Rotary Club Peja welcomed the Governor of Rotary District 2485, Arben Dushi, to the club’s meeting and to the second edition of the Peja Peace Forum, organised by the club under the patronage of Dr. Neshad R. Albani, with speakers from around the world.

“Democracy is like a fresh flower: if it is not watered carefully every day, it risks withering.” – General Wesley Clark, one of the forum’s main speakers

At the meeting the governor and members discussed the shared challenges in Rotary and how to get closer to communities. In his words, Rotary Club Peja is an example in the district for its intensive Rotary activity and its many projects, a fine model of Service Above Self. He presented the governor’s banner to club president Bashkim Nurboja.
