Rotary Club Peja welcomed friends from Iowa, USA, to talk about strengthening cooperation and joint projects for a better future.
The meeting with General Timothy Orr of the Iowa National Guard, who first visited the club in 2015, brought back memories of earlier meetings; he thanked Dr. Neshad R. Albani for his dedication to deepening the friendship between our countries. With Kim Heidemann and Paula Dierenfeld, Mayor of Johnston, Iowa, the club agreed to keep developing youth exchanges between Kosovo and Iowa, and the meeting with Colonel Todd Jacobus further strengthened the bond between our nations.
