In Rotary circles, Peja is known as the Rotary city. The Rotary flag flies here, the city has a Rotary Park, and the Rotary motto Service Above Self stands in stone in the city centre.
- 2011, 5th anniversary: the first Rotary monument, carved from natural stone, was raised in the Rotary Park.
- 2016, 10th anniversary: a second monument, in black marble, was unveiled in the centre of Peja on 12 November 2016, close to the monument to Mother Teresa. It was inaugurated by Past Rotary International Director and Rotary Foundation Trustee Örsçelik Balkan and club president Hamijeta Myftari, with Rotarians from Albania, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Sweden and Turkey.
- 2016: for the club’s 10th anniversary, Post and Telecom of Kosovo issued two stamps designed by club member Antian Asllani. One shows the bridge in the Rugova Canyon that links Kosovo and Montenegro, the other the traditional stone kulla of the Peja region.
The Prizren Rotarians even wrote a song for their sponsor club: “Eja në Pejë – Eja në Rotary” (“Come to Peja – Come to Rotary”), based on Rotary’s Four-Way Test. It was adapted by the late Agron Shporta and performed by Naxhi Kuqani.
