When a police officer in Kosovo was killed on duty, the family was often left with no financial support at all. Rotary Club Peja saw the urgent need and stepped in.
From 2006 to 2008 the club gave monthly financial help to every family of a fallen police officer in Kosovo. After independence, the Government of Kosovo took over responsibility for these families.
The club counts “In the Line of Duty” among its most important projects. In recognition, the Kosovo Police Service awarded Rotary Club Peja a special medal.
