In 2008, Rotary Club Peja partnered with the East of England NHS Ambulance Trust and the Rotary Club of Peterborough Minster to donate an emergency ambulance to the city of Mitrovica.
The ambulance was handed over by Sir Keith Person of the Rotary Club of Peterborough Minster and Dr. Neshad R. Albani of Rotary Club Peja to municipal officials in Mitrovica. The project was part of the club’s wider work that year to bring Rotary to more cities across Kosovo. Rotary Club Mitrovica, sponsored by Rotary Club Peja, was chartered the same year.
