Fifteen years of Rotary in Kosovo

On 4–5 November 2005, Rotary International admitted Kosovo, the first international recognition of the country.

Marking fifteen years since that day, founding president Dr. Neshad R. Albani asked every Rotary club in Kosovo to remember the occasion with its members, and thanked the friends around the world who made it possible: Laurie Linxweiler of Rotary International, PP David Gotaas of RC Winnetka-Northfield, PP Haki Dervishi of the Indio Sunrise Rotary Club, PDG Kalcho Hinov of District 2480 and PP Radojica Dakić of RC Podgorica.

“With your tireless work you made hundreds of projects possible in health, education, water and humanitarian aid. Thanks to you, our wonderful organisation is today one of the most trusted in our country. United, we will succeed!”
